It is located on the peninsula of Istria which is divided into two parts, Slovenian and Croatian. The coast of northern Italy is equally close – it lies around Trieste and Venice. The northern Adriatic is wonderfully diverse. In addition to countless beaches you will find beautiful cities, towns and ports, including the famous Venice... You can bathe on endless Italian sandy beaches or in cozy coves tucked between rocky cliffs with clear sea water typical throughout Croatia. The Slovenian coast is only 47 km long, however it is full of life and holiday temptations.
The distance to our nearest sea is also reduced by the fact that the highway leads directly to the capital of Istria – Rijeka, and to Trieste and Venice as well.
It is no coincidence that the northern Adriatic is one of the gems of the Mediterranean. Visitors are attracted by the combination of its lovely coastline and unique amount of monuments. Those who are already familiar with the world-famous Venice and Rovinj can go on discovering Pula, Porec, Umag, Koper, Grado, Aquilea or Trieste. One thing is certain: you will not get bored!
